ProTrac is a protractor app designed to measure angles.

Place the device FACE UP on a flat surface and rotate to find the angle relative to the starting angle.

Tap "ZERO" to create a new starting angle.

Use the side of your device as a ruler to draw straight lines at different angles.


ProTrac uses attitude from the CoreMotion framework to determine the yaw angle of the device about an imaginary arrow (+Z) pointing up out of the screen shown in green in the image below.
